How to add rules to your automation

Seamailer's automation feature lets you create customized rules that enhance your email campaigns and make communication more efficient. Follow these steps to add automation rules easily!
- Log in to Seamailer and head over to the Automation tab.
- This is where all the magic happens! You’ll see options to create new rules or edit existing ones.

- Click on “Add Rule” to start a fresh automation.
- Choose a relevant rule type: for instance, send a welcome email when a new contact subscribes, add a time delay, or add a follow-up reminder after a set time frame.

- Triggers define the timing of your automation. Select an action like:
- When added to a group
- When contacts subscribe
- When an email is opened
- When a link is clicked in an email
- Setting the right trigger ensures your automation will engage with the right contacts at the perfect moment.

- Customize further by adding conditions based on criteria like:
- Contact’s location
- Purchased items
- Email Engagement
- Conditions make your automation smarter and more targeted.
- Choose an action Seamailer should take when a trigger and conditions are met:
- Send Email
- Add Tag (to help segment your audience)
- Call a webhook
- Mix and match actions to get the results you want!

- Decide when each action should happen: immediately, after a delay, or at a specific time.
- Configure the frequency to prevent spamming contacts and ensure messages are timely.
7. Save and Test Your Rule
- Click Save and give your automation a name you’ll remember.
- Run a test to make sure it works just as you planned!
- Head to Reports to view your rule’s performance. Make adjustments as needed for optimal results.
- Keep Rules Simple: A few specific, focused rules perform better than many complex ones.
- Use Emojis: Add emojis to your messages and tags to make them stand out
